Festival Vendor Terms and Conditions.
1. Application Process:
Vendors must complete and submit the official application.
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. All applications are subject to review and approval by the festival committee.
2. Vendor Selection:
Vendor selection will be based on various criteria including the quality of products, uniqueness, relevance to the festival theme, and availability of space.
The festival organizers reserve the right to accept or reject any application at their discretion.
2A. Vendor Categories
Art Vendor
An Art Vendor is characterized as an individual who creates works of Art from raw materials.
Retail Vendor
A Retail Vendor is characterized as an individual or company that manufactures a product. Products are a compilation of unoriginal licensed artwork and prefabricated components assembled and packaged.
Political
This vendor type provides information only.
Food Vendor
A Food Vendor is characterized as an individual or company that prepares and or sells food or beverages, packaged or unpackaged from an area including but not limited to a booth space, truck, or cart. Food vendors must comply with all laws and have current applicable permits.
3. Fees and Payments:
Accepted vendors are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee, the amount of which will be specified in a PayPal invoice. Acceptance notifications and space information are only sent after payment is received.
Payment of the registration fee must be made within the specified deadline to secure the vendor's spot at the festival.
Additional services, such as electricity and Water may be requested but are limited and are not guaranteed, Additional fees apply and will be communicated to vendors as part of the invoicing process.
4. Set-Up and Breakdown:
Vendors are responsible for setting up their booths between 9 and 10 AM before the festival opens to the public and for dismantling their booths and cleaning their space after the festival concludes at 7 PM. Cars are not permitted on the street after 10 AM or prior to 7 PM
5. Booth Requirements:
Vendors must provide their own booth materials, including tables, chairs, displays, and signage.
Booths must be aesthetically pleasing and maintained in a clean and organized manner throughout the duration of the festival.
Booth space is 10 x 10 feet excluding Food Truck spaces.
A particular location on the street may be requested but is not guaranteed. Some spaces are not available due to emergency services and other festival features logistical placement. Vendors may be asked to move spaces even after location information has been given to accommodate unanticipated needs for the safety and success of the overall festival.
6. Product Restrictions:
Vendors are responsible for ensuring that all products sold at their booth comply with local laws and regulations.
The sale of counterfeit or unauthorized merchandise is strictly prohibited.
If festival organizers find that you are not in compliance with this policy it will result in immediate expulsion from the festival without refund and the violation will be reported to the authorities.
7. Insurance and Liability:
Vendors are required to have their own liability insurance to cover any damages, losses, or injuries that may occur as a result of their participation in the festival.
The festival organizers will not be held liable for any damages, losses, or injuries incurred by vendors or their representatives during the festival.
8. Conduct:
Vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive by the festival organizers may result in immediate expulsion from the festival without a refund.
9. Cancellation Policy:
In the event that a vendor needs to cancel their participation in the festival, an advanced written notice is appreciated. email:magnaartsfestival@gmail.com. However, please note that registration fees will not be refunded under any circumstance.
10. Amendments:
These terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of the festival organizers. Any amendments will be communicated to vendors here.
